Buying tickets through the official Pompeii website

Attraction selection

When you get to the "Buy Tickets" page, you will be able to choose between two options, Pompeii excavations and Vesuvian Archaeological Circuit. The second option is only useful if you need to buy stand-alone tickets for Boscoreale or the Oplontis, so if you want to visit the excavations of Pompeii you need to select the first one.

Then you will be redirected to TicketOne, the platform where you will actually have to buy the tickets. You will be presented with all the different available options. Click on your chosen one and go to the next step.

Ticket selection

In the second step, you will be asked to select the date and the number of tickets you need.

After you select the tickets of your choosing, you can proceed to check-out. Here you will be asked to either register or login (if you already have an account). Registering allows you to check on your reservation and download your e-tickets whenever you need to.

Check-out & payment

After adding the tickets to your basket and proceeding to check-out, you will have 15 minutes to complete the payment and confirm your reservation.

The payment is made via credit card. When the transaction is complete, you will receive confirmation and a receipt via email.
